little holiday office update...

this morning i hollered a question to Jamie and he didn't answer, but i did get a text that read:
JAMIE: shh. lets only speak via text messages for the whole day

we were all in the car a while ago reminicsing about a project:
BOSS: was that an ecumbrance for him finishing do you think?
Cait: whats an emcumbrance? like a vegetable or something?
Jamie: yeah, i think so. its like a cucumber.

in regards to jamie's christmas gift to his wife:
jamie: cait! what do you think?
cait: well, its cool. is it for you or her though?
jamie: me, obviously. so i guess i shouldnt go with this then?

boss: cait, what do you say when you stub your toe?
cait: damn?
boss: no, not any swear words!
cait: ouch?
boss: no! YOU say mommy!!

discussing the femininity of jamie's newly acquired fur winter coat:
boss: hahahaha
jamie: you can't even tease me? you're just laughing?
cait: it is nice, maybe you should be wearing a little hat to match
jamie: due to all the rude comments pertaining to my coat, i will no longer be buying lunch
boss: hahaha
