karma

i have been feeling quite grateful for karma lately. despite a rather lousy spring, my summer turned out to be kind of amazing and on top of that there have even been some perks i wasnt expecting.

until this year i have only been pulled over twice in the 7 years i have been driving-both times resulted in nasty speeding tickets. but i havent been pulled over for 3 years.

well as of last week i have been pulled over 4 times, FOUR TIMES SINCE JUNE. one for drunk driving, one for drunk driving and speeding, one for speeding and one for hitting the idiot in front of me (dont worry, i have an amazing patent lawyer on my side of the accident, he is very proactive)

interestingly enough i havent had my license (it is lost somewhere in san fran) with me once and usually i looked pretty scary since two of these occurences happened on late night drives home.

so...NOT ONE TICKET!! i havent cried or done anything special to get out of these tickets so it can really only be one thing-karma is back on my side of things.
